Training Program

The Home-Based Teaching Programme (HBTP) is a Parent Training Programme, which starts with the newly assessed students. Parents are given hands on training of different skill areas as prioritised for the students. The extension service covers the outstation students who attend the institute on weekly basis.

New parents get an access to Individualized training area of their ward through Home Based Teaching Programme (HBTP). This is a must for every parent to get acquainted with the skill training of students, prior to regular schooling at the Centre.

Parents Involvement Program(PIP)

• Parents Involvement Program me (PIP) is an ongoing program at GSSE where a parent has direct access to the classroom.
• Parents are given their PIP dates class-wise (twice a month) to come to school & spend time with their children in classroom / therapy wings / field, as per the I.E.P. (Individual Education Plan) of the child.
• Parents get up-dated about the child's teaching programme & faculties get a view of home roaster of the child. This is followed by a meeting with the principal & get necessary counselling is provided.
• Guardians and staff get exposure to training through Annual Training Programme at GSSE from resource professionals.

Training Workshops/Webinars

• Faculty at GSSE avails the advanced training , technique by attending workshop and seminar at other similar centers in India.
• Annual training workshop on various disciplines of disability for parents & professionals with help of resource persons from reputed organizations, medical field & rehabilitation professionals from leading national Institutes.
• To sensitize the family about different schemes & benefits relating to disability.
• Provision of Mobility Aids & Appliances for the needy students.
